Oh right, Thanksgiving.

I know I’ve been talking a lot about Christmas and I realized yesterday that Thanksgiving is only two weeks away. E and I are headed over to our friends’ house for Thanksgiving dinner and I’m making a few things to bring. I’m used to spending Thanksgiving with a lot of people including my family who all eat a primarily paleo diet. This year, I’ll be the only person who eats a primarily paleo diet, so I have to cook anything that I particularly want. Here’s the list I’ve come up with so far.

Oh yeah, and mashed sweet potatoes, but I don’t really need a recipe for those. These are all recipes I’ve had in previous years, but I’ve only ever made the biscuits, the seven-layer bars, and the mashed sweet potatoes. The week of Thanksgiving will be a very busy one for me and my kitchen.

I ordered a Turkey, so I can cook it at home and eat it with the leftovers. There are lots of people making lots of food so I’m really hopeful that I’ll have leftovers. Maybe I won’t bring all of what I make so I’ll be sure to have leftovers. Hmm, I probably need to make gravy too…
