There are big changes coming. None of which I can discuss. I know that’s completely unfair, I get your interest all piqued and then shut the door in your face. There’s a reason for my cruelty though, I’m telling you by way of explaining why I’m so completely scattered, frustrated, emotional, and depressed, and likely will be for a while. That it’s a result of situational distress rather than simply my brain going haywire. Or at least, the situational distress is the catalyst and my brain chemicals are the ingredients being catalysed.
So while things might get hairy over the next year, and I promise everything will be revealed eventually, it is because I will be handling more stress over the next while in keeping with the stress of the last few months.
I will endeavor to be less cryptic. In the meantime, here’s some yarn related news.
Guess what came in the mail yesterday?
It’s this yarn from Fleece Artist in the colorway Foliage. It is totally (mostly) making up for the complete and utter lack of Fall weather here in Tucson. High of 97 today. I don’t want to talk about it.
For now, this yarn is just keeping me company and reminding me what Fall looks like. I can’t figure out what to make out of it.
This is Petite Panache, a Christmas present for an adorable little friend of mine. It’s made out of EuroBaby Maypole in a currently unknown colorway.
All it needs to be finished is for me to sew on those little buttons in the bag. I hate sewing on buttons. I’ve been procrastinating this for a while. It’s on my agenda for the day.
I also pulled this out of the knitting basket yesterday. It’s a linen stitch scarf I started many moons ago and completely forgot about. It’s knit lengthwise with a million different sock yarns. I love the way it looks, but I do get tired of knitting the linen stitch rather quickly. I’m using it to break up the monotony of knitting the Chasing Rainbow blanket, which has gotten bigger, but no change worth photographing.
Any thoughts for that Fleece Artist yarn? What should I make?
