National Novel Writing Month is right around the corner. I have made the attempt on several occassions over the last decade, but never followed through the whole month. My excuse is always that I can’t think of something to write about for a novel’s length. And while that’s true, it’s not like I’ve really given it my full attention and best attempt.
This year a friend of mine has asked me to be her writing buddy. Help keep each other accountable for the word count. To be fair, that was several weeks ago, and I haven’t checked in with her again to see if she’s still interested.
Have any of you participated in NaNoWriMo? Did you successfully complete the word count for the month?
This guy says you can write a book in a weekend. Certainly I can write one in a month?
The real question is, can I write 50,000 words for NaNoWriMo AND keep up with the blog? I can’t imagine I have that much to say…
